The Diocese of Covington and the Intercommunity Sisters Peace and Justice Committee invite you to “Immigration: The Catholic Perspective,” June 25, Diocesan Curia, Bishop Howard Memorial Auditorium, Covington. Networking and refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m.; program 7–8:30 p.m.
Speakers and topics are: Hannah Keegan, Immigration and Catholic Social Teaching; James Camp, current reality at the US/Mexico border and an update on the status of immigration in the US; Notre Dame Sister Maria Francine Stacy and Divine Providence Sister Kay Kramer sharing from their 25-plus years of working directly with immigrants and dispelling myths about immigrants.
