The Crosier Guild gathers for fellowship and Barbeque
The Diocese of Covington’s Crosier Guild recognizes those who have donated $1,000 or more to the Diocesan Parish Annual Appeal (DPAA) for at least seven years, with those being either consecutive or non-consecutive. The Guild gathers regularly for fellowship events as a way to build community with one another, said Jennifer Cox , DPAA secretary for the Office of Stewardship and Mission Services. The latest gathering was for Mass and a barbeque dinner at St. Joseph Parish, Cold Spring, with Bishop John Iffert and Father Andrew Young, pastor, who celebrated Mass for the group. “The goal is really just fellowship,” said Mrs. Cox. This year, the Guild welcomed 76 new households, bringing the household total to 816.
