Annual Statistical Report 2024

The Chancery Office completes the Annual Statistical Report in February with the assistance of the parishes and institutions of the Diocese.  Statistical and historical information for the previous calendar year is gathered and assembled into one report, which is sent to Rome in early March.

For 2024 data, all information should be returned to the Chancery no later than Monday, February 3, 2025. 

Parishes

A complete report consists of the Annual Statistical Report Form (available below) and sacramental registers for Baptisms, Confirmations, Marriages, Baptized Christians Received into Full Communion, and Deaths (generated from the Camino database).

Please return the completed report to the Chancery Office by mail or email Carrie Hamberg at [email protected].  If mailed, please send the report in a flat envelope – DO NOT FOLD!  DO NOT STAPLE!  A copy should be kept for parish records.

The fillable PDF version of the Report Form is available below.  All information must be typed for legibility.  Handwritten reports WILL NOT be accepted.  Each report page DOES NOT need a seal and/or pastor/parochial administrator’s signature except where indicated on the form.

All sacramental registers must be downloaded from the Camino database.  Please check the following before submitting:

• Date:  Make sure the current year date (2024) is correct in the upper right corner on each record.
• Margins:  1 inch top with 1/4 inch sides.
• Baptismal Record:  Mother’s name needs to include married name followed by maiden name in parentheses.
• DO NOT use staples.

Please verify that the total number of Baptisms, Marriages, Deaths, Confirmations, and Baptized Christians Received into Full Communion on the sacramental registers match the total numbers listed in the Parish Statistics section of the Annual Statistical Report Form.

Institutions

Institutions will receive a separate mailing in December requesting the necessary statistical information (number served / assisted in 2024 and sacramental registers as applicable).  Please return the completed form(s) by mail or email Carrie Hamberg at [email protected].  If sending sacramental registers, please send in a flat envelope – DO NOT FOLD!  DO NOT STAPLE!  A copy should be kept for institution records.
