Director of Finance – Mercy McAuley High School

The Director of Finance provides financial and strategic leadership. Responsibilities include operational, fiscal, and administrative effectiveness of the financial Administration, campus facilities, risk management, legal/vendor contracts, business policy and generally accepted accounting principles and procedures. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance is committed to the educational philosophy, mission and goals of the school, and embraces the Mercy charism and the teachings of the Catholic church. The position requires a collaborative working relationship with all administrators, board members, staff, parents, and other constituents.

Accountability:  The Director of Finance reports to and is supervised by the President of Mercy McAuley High School.

Supervises:  Business office staff, IT staff, security staff and various contractors as assigned by the President.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting platform.
  • Demonstrated strengths in interpersonal skills, collaboration, and initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to effectively analyze, interpret and present relevant data for decision making.
  • Respect MMHS as a Catholic, Mercy school by maintaining a personal and professional presence consonant with the charism of the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic teaching.

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred and a minimum of five or more years managing financial operations in a school, university, foundation or other non-profit environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

New team members – Mercy McAuley High School – 2024-25

Mercy McAuley High School is looking for new team members to join us for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mercy McAuley High School is seeking a dynamic math teacher. This position is a part-time, benefit eligible, salaried, Ohio teaching licensed, on-site position and reports to the principal. This teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lessons, while following the curriculum, analyzing assessment data with the purpose of monitoring teaching strategies, integrating technology tools, and participating in Professional Learning Communities. This person must have the ability to teach all academic levels in math courses ranging from Pre-algebra to Calculus at our all-girls Catholic High School.

Mercy McAuley is looking for a pirouetting dance team coach to build our dance team program! We are looking for an enthusiastic person with dance team coaching experience, willing to share their talents & love of dance with our young women.

Mercy McAuley is looking for a swinging assistant golf coach to join our golf program! We are looking for an enthusiastic person to help assist the new head coach. Come and share your talents & the love of the game of golf with our young women.
