Third Grade Maternity Substitute Teacher – February 2027
St. Joseph School in Cold Spring, KY is seeking a maternity substitute teacher for a third-grade classroom beginning in February 2027. The ideal candidate will create a positive, nurturing classroom environment while delivering high-quality, engaging instruction that supports the academic, social, and spiritual growth of each student.
Responsibilities include implementing established standards-based lessons and classroom routines, assessing student progress, maintaining clear communication with parents, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success. The maternity substitute will also actively contribute to the faith life of the school community and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
Candidates should value a faith-based Catholic education and demonstrate strong classroom management skills, creativity in instruction, and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of learners. Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous elementary teaching or classroom experience is preferred but not required.
