Parish Work (Part-time) – Divine Mercy and St. Bernard parishes

For immediate hire, three part-time hourly positions available, assisting the Pastor of Divine Mercy and St. Bernard parishes (www.dmsbcatholic.com) in Campbell County:

Business Manager – 15-20 hours per week, helping the Pastor manage properties and finances for the parishes, several rental properties, and a preschool. Familiar with QuickBooks software is a must, and prior experience is preferred. Would work with the existing Parish Secretary and bookkeeping volunteers.

Youth and Young Adult Minister – 5-15 hours per week, initiating and coordinating Youth Ministry and Young Adult activities. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with good organizational skills, who can connect with youth, and who has good familiarity with technology, especially social media. Would work closely with the pastor, and would also coordinate with the Jr High religion teacher in our school.

General “Handy Person” –  5-15 hours per week, performing odd tasks around the two campuses. Candidates should have solid problem-solving, repair, and grounds keeping skills, and will be able to get up on a ladder. Living with close proximity to the parishes would be a plus, to be able to handle emergencies.

Youth Minister – Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Burlington, Ky. is looking for an energetic, faith-filled, actively practicing Catholic to coordinate and lead our parish Youth Ministry program. The Youth Minister plans and facilitates the activities of junior high and high school youth, training and meeting regularly with youth leadership in the parish. The successful candidate will lead weekly group events, organize and support discipleship groups, run retreats, and provide youth with opportunities to serve in leadership roles both in the parish and the community.  Preferred characteristics of the desired candidate include: An undergraduate degree and prior experience in Catholic youth ministry.  This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with frequent work in evenings or weekends.  For a full job description or to submit a resume, please contact Deacon Greg Meier at [email protected].
