School Counselor – Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy is seeking a compassionate, student-centered professional to join our school counseling team. The School Counselor will play an important role in supporting the personal, social, and emotional development of our students while helping each young woman thrive as a whole person within our Catholic school community.

This position includes responsibilities in personal counseling and social-emotional learning, Work-Based Learning coordination, and student support programming. The counselor will work collaboratively with students, families, faculty, administration, and community partners to identify student needs and provide appropriate support, resources, and opportunities.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and small-group support for students experiencing personal, social, emotional, or school-related concerns
  • Supporting and developing social-emotional learning initiatives and student wellness programming
  • Responding to student concerns and collaborating with families and school personnel when additional support or intervention is needed
  • Coordinating and supporting NDA’s Work-Based Learning opportunities, including internships, career exploration, and partnerships with local businesses and community organizations
  • Helping students develop skills in self-advocacy, decision-making, healthy relationships, resilience, and personal responsibility
  • Collaborating with NDA’s counseling, intervention, academic, and administrative teams to support the needs of the whole student
  • Participating in student programming and other responsibilities that support the mission and needs of Notre Dame Academy

The ideal candidate will be a caring and approachable professional who enjoys working with adolescent girls, builds strong relationships, communicates effectively with students and families, and works collaboratively as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate sound professional judgment, discretion, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being.

A master’s degree in school counseling, counseling, social work, or a related field is preferred. Appropriate Kentucky certification/licensure and relevant experience working with adolescents are strongly preferred.

Dance PaNDAs Team Coach – Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school committed to educating young women to make a difference in the world, seeks a dynamic and dedicated Dance PaNDAs Team Coach. These dancers perform at our Christmas concert, our theatre showcase in the winter, our Arts Fest in the spring, and at various football games this fall. Extensive dance experience is recommended, especially experience in a dance instructor capacity.

Director of Advancement – Notre Dame Academy

The Director of Advancement is a full-time leadership position responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive development and fundraising strategy that supports the mission, vision and long-term sustainability of Notre Dame Academy. As a member of NDA’s Leadership Team, the Director leads the Advancement Department, fosters a culture of philanthropy and builds meaningful relationships with donors, alumnae, families and community partners.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Advancement Plan aligned with NDA’s mission, Strategic Plan and long-term goals.
  • Personally manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, actively cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Annual Fund, major and planned giving, endowments, corporate and foundation relations and donor stewardship.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with donors, alumnae, parents, grandparents, foundations, corporate partners and friends of NDA.
  • Lead long-range fundraising planning for future capital campaigns and institutional priorities.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the Advancement Department, including Annual Giving & Events and Alumnae Relations.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment, Communications, school leadership and the Board of Directors to advance institutional priorities and strengthen constituent engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in advancement, development, fundraising, nonprofit leadership or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in major gifts, donor cultivation, solicitation and fundraising strategy.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Genuine passion for Catholic education and the mission of Notre Dame Academy.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.

Related Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate goals into effective fundraising strategies and results.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and with school leadership and volunteers.
  • Experience with fundraising databases and CRM systems.
  • Strong commitment to ethical fundraising practices and donor confidentiality.
