Preschool Aftercare Teacher (Part-time) – Saint Mary School

Saint Mary School, a Blue Ribbon school in Alexandria, KY, is seeking a part-time (M-F, 1:30-6:00 p.m.) Preschool Aftercare Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be over 18 years of age, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children. Job responsibilities include working under the supervision of the directors and lead teacher to create a fun environment with engaging after school activities for children ages 3-5, implement age-appropriate school concepts, positively encouraging children as they develop their fine motor, gross motor, language development, and social/ emotional skills, complying with state regulations, completing 15 training hours per school year, being Virtus trained and compliant, preparing lessons and daily classroom activities. Preschool Aftercare Teacher (Part-time) – St. Lawrence School

St Lawrence school in LAWRENCEBURG, IN is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join our Preschool team as an Aftercare Teacher. Hours are Monday through Friday from 2:15 – 6:15 pm, with possible Wednesday and Friday midday preschool class aide as well.

This role provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children at the end of their school day. Responsibilities:
● Provide attentive supervision to preschool-aged children during aftercare hours
● Create a warm and welcoming environment that supports children’s social and emotional development
● Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
● Assist with snack time and daily end of day routines
● Maintain a clean and organized classroom space
● Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff

Qualifications:
● Experience working with young children preferred
● Patient, nurturing, and dependable
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Ability to work collaboratively with a team
● Must be able to actively engage with children and supervise both indoor and outdoor play
