STEM Aide (Full-time) – Saint Mary School

Saint Mary School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic full-time hourly STEM Aide to support our STEM teacher and Library Coordinator. Responsibilities include preparing materials for lessons and projects, assisting with small group instruction, setting up and organizing STEM activities, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The role also includes supporting the library by shelving books, assisting students, and helping manage resources. Additional duties may include assisting the office manager and teachers with copying, clerical tasks, and other needs throughout the building, based on the daily schedule. Candidates must be Virtus-trained, organized, flexible, and enjoy working with children in a collaborative school environment. 3rd Grade Teacher – Saint Mary School

Saint Mary seeks a third-grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  The individual should be motivated to meet the needs of all students by using data to tier and differentiate their lessons.  This teacher is responsible for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas, developing high-level lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines, integrating innovative technology, strong collaboration with other teachers, teams, professional staff, and administrators, and responding to a wide range of inquiries from parents or guardians regarding student progress and feedback. Preschool Assistant Teacher (Full-time) – Saint Mary School

Saint Mary School, a Blue Ribbon School in Alexandria, KY, is seeking a full-time Preschool Assistant Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old.  A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children is required. Job responsibilities include working under the supervision of the lead teacher to assist with classroom needs and lessons, to instill a child’s basic understanding of literacy skills, mathematics, and age-appropriate school concepts, positively encouraging children as they develop their fine motor, gross motor, language development, and social/emotional skills, complying with state regulations, assisting the lead teacher with preparing lessons and daily classroom activities.  Completing 15 training hours per school year, and Virtus training is required.
