Chemistry Teacher – Bishop Brossart High School

Bishop Brossart High School is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. We are looking for an educator who can deliver a rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum (General and Honors) while supporting our Catholic mission of “Charity First.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction: Design and lead student-centered Chemistry lessons and laboratory experiments.
  • Safety: Manage lab equipment and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Culture: Foster a classroom environment rooted in spiritual growth and academic excellence.
  • Engagement: Communicate student progress effectively and participate in the broader BBHS community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Secondary Education.
  • Valid Kentucky Teaching Certification (Grades 9-12) or eligibility for it.
  • Strong proficiency in educational technology and laboratory management.
  • Commitment to the values of Catholic education.
