Campus Minister and Theology Teacher – Newport Central Catholic High School

Newport Central Catholic High School is seeking a full time Campus Minister and Theology teacher for the 2026-27 school year to further the Faith on The Hill including executing the Faith Development Five year Strategic Plan.  This position will oversee all faith based service planning and initiatives while working closely with members of the Theology Department and our School Chaplain.  Responsibilities will also include teaching a part time schedule of 3-4 daily religion classes.  The position must be filled by a practicing Catholic and preferably by a candidate with proper religious certification or working toward basic proper certification.  All interested candidates should send a letter of interest and resume to kcollopy@ncchs.com. Campus Minister – St. Ursula Academy

In collaboration with the President and the Principal, the Campus Minister is responsible for the growth and cultivation of Ursuline awareness and spirit in the Saint Ursula Academy community, with a special focus on community faith formation.  Must be knowledgeable and committed to the mission and philosophy of the school, and uphold and exemplify the characteristics of an Ursuline education through programming initiatives and faith-filled events. This is a full-time, 12-month position, reporting directly to the Vice Principal of Student Life. Preferred qualifications include: at least a Bachelor’s degree in theology, religious studies, pastoral ministry, or a related field; five years of experience working in pastoral ministry; and a Tier 1 Catholic Campus Minister Certification (CCMC) or a willingness to earn within 12 months.
