Choir Director – Covington Latin School
Covington Latin School is seeking a highly qualified, energetic, and passionate Choir Director for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a vibrant student choir ministry rooted in the rich liturgical tradition of the Catholic Church.
Practice times are flexible; however, candidates must be available to direct the choir during the 8:15 a.m. Mass at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption each Wednesday throughout the school year.
The ideal candidate will:
- Plan and coordinate liturgical music for school Masses
- Lead and accompany the choir during weekly liturgies
- Recruit, inspire, and retain student choir members
- Prepare worship aids for Masses and special liturgical celebrations
- Be proficient in playing the organ in the Cathedral setting
- Be available for occasional additional school events, including graduation and other special ceremonies
Qualified applicants should possess strong musical and organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering meaningful worship through sacred music.
