Assistant Principal – St. Joseph School, Crescent Springs
St. Joseph School is seeking a faith-filled, mission-driven Assistant Principal to support the academic, spiritual, and operational leadership of our Catholic school community. The Assistant Principal works collaboratively with the Principal, faculty, students, parents, and parish leadership to foster excellence in Catholic education while promoting student achievement, faith formation, and a positive school culture.
Responsibilities
- Support the Principal in the daily administration and operation of the school
- Promote and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
- Assist with faculty supervision and evaluation
- Support curriculum development and instructional excellence
- Help oversee student discipline, attendance, and behavioral support
- Help coordinate school activities, events, and student programs
- Build strong relationships with families, parish staff, and the broader community
- Assist with school improvement initiatives
- Participate in faith formation activities, liturgies, and school prayer life
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
- Valid state teaching and/or administrative certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to academic excellence and Catholic identity
- Experience working collaboratively with faculty, parents, and students
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in school administration
- Prior experience in a Catholic school setting
- Degree in Teaching, Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of diocesan policies and procedures
- Experience with instructional coaching and data-informed decision-making
