Math Teacher – Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school committed to educating young women to make a difference in the world, seeks a dynamic and dedicated full time Math teacher. Position Overview

The full time Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous instruction in Mathematics while fostering a supportive and collaborative classroom environment. This educator will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in young women pursuing studies in mathematics and will contribute to the continued development of NDA’s STEM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards for Mathematics

  • Design engaging lessons that promote inquiry, problem-solving, and real-world application of mathematics

  • Support and contribute to the growth of STEM programming, including collaboration on initiatives connected to department improvement

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

  • Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback

  • Utilize technology to enhance instruction and student engagement

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate with members of the Math Department and broader faculty

  • Support the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy in all aspects of school life

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Prior teaching experience in mathematics preferred

  • Strong content knowledge and the ability to teach both college-preparatory and honors-level courses

  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and professional growth

  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills

  • A strong work ethic and a student-centered approach to teaching

  • Willingness to support the Catholic mission of the school
