Job Summary:

The President of St. Ursula Academy serves as the chief executive officer of the school and is appointed by and accountable to the Board of Trustees. As the primary steward of the Academy’s mission, the President provides spiritual, educational, and corporate leadership in support of St. Ursula Academy’s Catholic and Ursuline identity.

The President is a servant leader who inspires joy, confidence, and purpose in young women and in the adults who educate and support them. With a deep love for working with adolescent girls, the President models faith-filled leadership, fosters a vibrant and inclusive school culture, and leads with integrity, vision, and compassion.

The President is responsible for the overall organization, direction, and evaluation of all school operations, including strategic planning, academics, finance, advancement, marketing and communications, human resources, alumnae relations, and facilities. Working collaboratively with the Principal and leadership team, the President ensures that the Academy thrives as a mission-driven institution committed to developing confident, courageous female leaders.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Leadership for Mission

  • Embodies servant leadership, leading with humility, joy, and a genuine love for educating and empowering young women, as well as the safe, inclusive and fulfilling student experience.
  • Ensures that the Catholic and Ursuline character of the school is developed, evaluated, and promoted among students, faculty, staff, parents and trustees.
  • Is the visionary leader for the school community and clearly articulates the mission, vision and core Ursuline values of the school to alumnae, parents, students, faculty, staff and the wider community.
  • Promotes the spiritual vitality and faith life of the school in collaboration with the Principal, Ursuline Identity Committee, and Board of Trustees.
  • Ensures the selection of personnel who are committed to promoting the mission, vision and core values of the school.
  • Provides strategic oversight of safety policies, risk management practices, and emergency preparedness.
  • Serves as the liaison to the Ursulines of Cincinnati, Inc. and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati regarding the mission, vision and core values.

Education

  • Ensures that there are professional systems of evaluation and development of faculty, administration and staff.
  • Collaborates with the Principal in promoting academic excellence, innovation, and continuous program improvement aligned with the school’s mission and values.
  • Ensures compliance with all accreditation standards and requirements.

Advancement

  • Provides visionary leadership for advancement and fundraising, with demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and inspire philanthropic investment in the school’s mission.
  • Oversees the Advancement Office to ensure effective donor engagement, achievement of annual fundraising goals, and alignment with institutional values.
  • Builds authentic relationships with benefactors, parents, alumnae, and community partners.
  • Spearheads the comprehensive fundraising efforts for the school, including all capital campaigns.

Marketing/Communications

  • Serves as the ambassador and spokesperson, representing the school with warmth, credibility, and enthusiasm to internal and external audiences.
  • Ensures the development and execution of a comprehensive, strategic marketing and communications plan that strengthens enrollment, visibility, and brand identity.

Financial/Operations

  • Provides strong business and operational leadership, overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the Academy.
  • Directs annual operating and capital budgets, long-range financial planning, and investment policies in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Oversees policies related to tuition, financial aid, and revenue management.
  • Oversees human resource strategy, including compensation philosophy, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Oversees facilities management, including real estate opportunities, construction of new facilities, and preventative care and restoration of current facilities.
  • Ensures appropriate technology infrastructure to support teaching, learning, and administration.
  • Addresses legal matters impacting the school with diligence and sound judgment.

Administrative Functions

  • Recruits, selects, supervises, and develops the President’s direct reports.  Currently, the following is a list of direct reports:  Principal, V.P. of Operations, V.P. of Advancement, V.P. of Communications, Senior Director of Community and Cultural Engagement, Athletic Director, and the Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Conducts annual performance evaluations aligned with job expectations, strategic goals, and mission effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with leadership in hiring, development, and, when necessary, dismissal of faculty and staff.
  • Ensures consistent and effective implementation of policies across all departments.

Board of Trustees and Strategic Leadership

  • Serves as ex-officio voting member of the Board and all Board committees.
  • Partners with the Board and departments in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the long-range strategic plan to evaluate the school’s progress in achieving its mission, vision and core values.
  • Works with the Board to formulate appropriate policy for the school and ensures implementation of and consistent adherence to these policies.
  • Provides transparent, timely communication to support effective governance and shared leadership.
  • Actively recruits future Board and committee members, subject to Board approval.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ senior leadership experience with significant supervisory responsibility.
  • A Master’s Degree and experience in education is preferred.

  • Actively engaged Catholic with a deep appreciation for Ursuline education as rooted in the charism of St. Angela Merici.
  • Demonstrates joy, warmth, and authenticity in working with young women and those who serve them.
  • Proven success in fundraising and donor relationship management.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
  • Collaborative, relational leader and skilled communicator who listens deeply and builds trust and authentic relationships.
  • Comfortable navigating complexity, change, and ambiguity with courage and discernment.
  • Able to address conflict constructively and make timely, values-based decisions.  Receptive to feedback.
  • Demonstrates strengths and success in leading and managing people, processes, and change; financial management and strategic planning; communication and organizational skills with a genuine desire to empower, and motivate others.

Graphic Designer

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking a Graphic Designer to create beautiful and compelling print and digital design solutions for The Catholic Telegraph.  The Graphic Designer will be expected to understand and safeguard the brand and graphic standards of the archdiocese and its various ministries, work reliably and collaboratively to deliver output on time and on budget, and stay current in the evolving field of design and design technology.

The Graphic Designer reports to the Editorial Director of The Catholic Telegraph and collaborates closely and productively with the entire staff of the Department of Communication & Evangelization. The Graphic Designer must be a model of professional conduct and always represent the Archdiocese of Cincinnati with honesty and integrity.

Teacher Aide (Full-time) – St. Paul Preschool

High School Teachers – Fiat Classical Academy

Inclusive Education Coordinator

About Villa Madonna Montessori

Villa Madonna Montessori is a school in the Diocese of Covington, Kentucky. We are located on the grounds of Villa Madonna Academy alongside St. Walburg Monastery, overlooking the Ohio River. For more than 50 years, we have served families throughout Northern Kentucky.

Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, child-centered educator to serve as a full-time Pre-Primary Montessori Teacher in a collaborative co-teaching classroom. Montessori certification is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, support and deliver a Montessori-based program for children ages 3–6.
  • Help prepare, maintain, and care for the classroom environment and Montessori materials.
  • Guide positive classroom routines and behavior using developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Observe children, document progress, and support individualized learning.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and parent meetings.
  • Contribute to daily classroom upkeep and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children ages 3–6 (Montessori or early childhood setting preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate in a co-teaching environment with professionalism, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Warm, patient, and dependable presence with children and families.
  • Montessori training/certification preferred; willingness to pursue Montessori training is a plus.

Compliance Requirements

Employment is contingent upon meeting diocesan and state requirements, including:

  • Virtus training and compliance (Diocese of Covington) prior to the start of the school year.
  • State of Kentucky requirements through the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, including background check and fingerprinting.
  • Completion of 15 hours of annual training as required by the State of Kentucky.
