Cook (Part-time) – Saint Joseph Academy

Saint Joseph Academy in Walton, Kentucky is looking to hire a Part-time Cook for the 2025-2026 school year. The individual would work alongside our current employee and share responsibilities of serving lunch to our students and staff 2-3 days a week from approximately 9:00-1:30. Parish Secretary and Assistant

Immediate opening for a full-time parish secretary and assistant to the pastor. A part-time position might also be considered, but full-time is preferred. Candidates must be outgoing, detail-oriented, and have strong people and organizational skills. They will act both as parish secretary and assistant to the pastor, helping him to manage his schedule and streamline, organize, and manage the day-to-day activities of two parishes. They must be flexible, professional, have an aptitude for learning, have familiarity with technology, and be comfortable in a small office environment. Most importantly, this person must be enthusiastically Catholic, living in full communion with their Catholic Faith, and have a desire to promote the mission of the Church through parish ministry. Child Development Center Director/Teacher

Immediate opening for a full-time director/teacher for a Child Development Center for children 6 mos. – 2 yrs. old. Must be 21 years old with at least 3 years of experience in licensed early childhood education; a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Must have strong people, communication, and organizational skills. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the facility, overseeing daily operations, following all codes, regulations, policies, and procedures, budgeting, staff and client recruitment and retention, and overseeing curriculum planning and implementation. Most of all, developing positive relationships with families. The director will also provide direct care as a teacher in a classroom setting. This person must be an active, practicing Catholic. Custodian (Part-time) – St. Cecilia School

St. Cecilia Catholic School in Independence, Kentucky is seeking a part-time custodian to assist with daily cleaning tasks.  The duties outlined below are included:

-Cleaning: Cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other areas daily. Perform weekly, monthly, and seasonal cleaning as needed.

-Sanitizing: Disinfect bathrooms, cafeteria, and touch surfaces such as door handles, switch plates, and trash receptacles.

-Trash removal: Empty trash containers and transport materials to disposal areas daily.

-Responding to emergencies as needed: Spills, illness, etc.

-Moving furniture: Moving heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies manually or with hand trucks.

-Setting up for events: Setting up, arranging, or removing decorations, tables, chairs,

etc. for meetings and events.

-Maintaining equipment: Maintaining small tools, equipment, cleaning supplies, and work areas.

-Using chemicals: Using appropriate chemicals and cleaners safely and productively.

-Maintaining professional relationships: Maintaining positive, professional relationships with staff, parents, and others.
