Buildings and Facilities Manager- St. Henry District High School

St. Henry District High School is seeking a skilled, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Lead to oversee the care, upkeep, and safety of our campus. This role manages day-to-day repairs, operates mechanical systems, and supports school events to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our faculty, students, and community.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Maintenance: Perform daily repairs involving basic plumbing, low-voltage electrical, carpentry, etc.
  • Campus Operations: Oversee HVAC, lighting, and fire safety systems; manage relationships with specialized contractors for major repairs.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Keep campus equipment running smoothly to prevent emergency repairs and control costs.
  • Event Support: Coordinate room setups and teardowns for athletics, school functions, and community events.
  • Safety & Grounds: Routinely inspect facilities for safety hazards, clear walkways, and complete safety audit reports
  • Summer Deep-Cleaning: Oversee and execute annual summer classroom operations, including deep cleaning, floor stripping, and waxing.
  • On-Call Emergency Response: Serve as the primary contact on-call for campus emergencies, responding on-site outside of regular school hours when necessary.
